Destiny of the Shrine Maiden 1 - "The Land of Eternity"
This one starts off like any other school life drama. We have Kurusugawa Himeko attending an all girl school and making nice with the most popular and ace student there: Himekawa Chikane. And by 'making nice' I mean having a secret meeting during lunch and taking pictures of each other hugging. Lots of pretty people on this show, both female AND male. You’ll see a lot of panning stills too. So yeah, it's just like any other school life drama.
THEN AFTER THE COMMERCIAL SHIT. GETS. CRAZY.
Suddenly the world is cast in darkness and a MUMMY MECHA starts BREAKING SHIT. Sensing her potential life mate in peril Chikane dashes over to Himeko's house–ON A HORSE! (This show is so dramatic.) But she gets there too late because the mecha's already knocked the girl unconscious. With Himeko in her arms, Chikane can’t decide whether to feel her up, administer CPR, or embrace her on the lips. So she does all three, in that order!
Yeah, I'm hoping Destiny of the Shrine Maiden lasts forever.
