Killcode at the Gramercy Theatre
Here's the shots I took of Killcode at The Gramercy Theatre last Saturday. They opened for Charetta. They're pretty rockin'! I missed out on some great shots I was dancing so much. Oh well, next time! They're on my radar now.
We weren't allowed to shoot with flash. I embraced this restriction and instead of trying to freeze the action I captured a little motion. Once again I was playing with light. I had the ISO at 500 to make things nice and grainy. I was going for an almost paint-like quality.
I can understand why they'd want us to shoot without flash. It could be distracting to the crowd behind us. The last thing I want to do is steal focus from the performers.
